Creating a Robotic Automation Workflow

To create a Robotic Automation Workflow in Real-Time Designer:

1.

Create a workflow for the robot to run in the following way: navigate to Business Logic > Workflow tab, and in the toolbar, select New Workflow.

Real-Time Designer adds a new Properties pane on the right side of the Designer window.

Select the Publish as Robotic Automation Web Service option to ensure that the workflow can be used as a remote robot workflow (selecting the Publish as Robotic Automation Web Service option also enables the Is Retriable option; see Creating a Retriable Workflow for details).

Note the addition of a remote icon next to the workflow name indicating that this is a remote workflow.

3.

Configure the robot workflow, adding rules and transitions as per the requirements of this workflow (see Real-Time Designer User Guide for details).
